Jeg har kun lige kigget lidt rundt derinde men det ser meget lovende ud, ikke mindst i forhold til foreninger der har brug for grupper til at kunne snakke sammen i, lidt ud over hvad whatsapp tilbyder.

Det er bestemt ikke det jeg siger. SOCii har jo intet med open source at gøre, og jeg synes faktisk ærligt talt at det direkte er falsk markedsføring at sige at der er tale om open source, når det åbenlyst for enhver, der har den mindste smule viden om det, ikke er tilfældet. Du skal også huske på punkt 2, som er endnu mere relevant i dette tilfælde:

  1. Source Code

The program must include source code, and must allow distribution in source code as well as compiled form. Where some form of a product is not distributed with source code, there must be a well-publicized means of obtaining the source code for no more than a reasonable reproduction cost, preferably downloading via the Internet without charge. The source code must be the preferred form in which a programmer would modify the program. Deliberately obfuscated source code is not allowed. Intermediate forms such as the output of a preprocessor or translator are not allowed.
