Firstly I want to get rid of my Gilette shavers since the cartridges are expensive for the handles and don't last so long, so I would like to move to some safety razor solution. At least I also reduce my plastic usage.

I'm also open for alternative shaving foam and after shave products.

Brilliant, thanks very much for the advice. I've still got a few disposables left but definitely switching over. No more USA razors.

You actually going for the single blade safety razor approach then? I think it’s great but can fully get why it isn’t for everyone, so I’d be very interested to hear how you get on if you do try it
