Struggling to see why someone who once did a drug should be permanently banned from working
Because he tried to fly an airplane while high on drugs?
Cocaine lasts about 30-60 minutes, 10-15 for impairment by other sources
The cocaine was not consumed while working or at an airport
You made that up didn't you?
Bro pilots aren't even allowed to drink 12 hours before flying, and there's a laundry list of medicine they can't take on flying status. What makes you think any amount of cocaine would be fine?
Pretty unscientific if it's not based on being impaired. Obviously there's no issue when the guy has been drug tested too. Continue to kick up a stink but the regulatory agency that MAKES THOSE RULES is obviously satisfied with the guy
