I think anyone paying attention expects the US to sacrifice their public image to keep wasting taxpayer dollars helping the Zionists commit a genocide.

Al Ansar Allah enacted the blockade in response to Israel's genocide due to their own (along with every other signatory of the convention on genocide)'s obligation to stop genocide.
When Israel agreed to the ceasefire, they stopped. When Israel resumed its genocide, they resumed the blockade.

The US is not blowing up a bunch of civilians and the occasional member of Ansar Allah to stop slavery, nor will it be a side effect of America's actions. That we need to go to war with China because the US is just so concerned about the plight of the Uhygurs?

You see, Yemeni culture requires them to be terrorists, block ships of Israel's allies, and kick puppies.
