A gaming community free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it's price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don't meet the system requirements, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases.

That sounds fun too! I take some screenshots here and there too, there's some really great landscapes.

Yeah, I've noticed that a lot unfortunately. I've got a community I moderate and try to post in when I have something to say, but there's so many others and not enough time in the day!

I feel you. I've been trying to kickstart a community for over a year now and the best I can hope for are a few votes. It can be pretty deflating after a while.

Yeah, same! There's a few others I've experimented with posting in, and gotten the same response. I would keep going, but I feel like people are also going to avoid the community if it's just me talking to myself! So it's tough to find a good balance.

I try not to overthink it - if it's a topic I'm interested in I just keep posting, even if I'm alone. There's no point (in my mind) in worrying about people being put off of a community with a single poster since the only alternative is a completely dead one. It might be just me but I feel like the latter is less inviting - if only because you have no idea if anything you post will get a response. With a single poster you know there's at least one person passionate enough about the topic to engage with you.

Very true! Being early adopters of something new like this is definitely fun, but it has it's challenges!
