Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Summary

Seventy days into his second term, Donald Trump faces growing internal turmoil and public backlash. Allies report he’s making late-night angry calls, upset over negative press and policy setbacks.

The "Signalgate" scandal and GOP resistance to new tariffs have shaken his administration. Trump blames National Security Adviser Mike Waltz for a messaging blunder and resents criticism of his deportation efforts.

His attempts to end wars in Gaza and Ukraine have faltered.

Republicans fear economic fallout from his trade policies, raising concerns about recession and inflation.

The fact that McHitler hasn't stroked out by now is all the proof I really need to say that there is no god directing all this shit.

My dad is 60 and has had a stroke in Janurary. He's far from perfect, but he's been a good role model for me, made me a better person, and helped me when I realized my mom was more insane each passing day.

This fucker is the oldest president, looks worse than his age, is angry 24/7, and hasn't had one.

Life is a cruel joke.

Around 13,000 children under the age of 5 die every day. I’d love to see god explain that lol

Lucifer: I'm not in the business of murdering innocent children. That's God's jurisdiction.

"We didn't start the fire. It's always been burning since the world's been turning..."

God: "No, yeah, that was me. I started it. Flicked over the first domino. Still watching the picture unfold. Quite the sight, wish you could see it."

"I work in mysterious ways."

  • God (probably)

If there is a god, he's incompetent at best, and more likely, an asshole who is doing this shit on purpose.

[–] Bonesince1997@lemmy.world 19 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Been thinking about that myself, with my shitty religious upbringing. This is what god wants. And, if you're Jewish and you've at least heard the phrase "god's chosen people," I just wonder how you square that with one of the worst people to live having killed 6 million of them. God was really looking out for the chosen people that day, let me tell ya...

[–] futatorius@lemm.ee 6 points 1 day ago

My ex, who is Jewish, told me "chosen" is more like "singled out."

God realized they fucked up with all us uppity hyper-hierarchical monkeys and is going for a hard reset, or never existed. Change my mind.

[–] drhodl@lemmy.world 7 points 2 days ago (1 children)

If god, in the christian, all-knowing and all-powerful sense even exists, she must fucking hate us, because she allowed Drumf to happen. I could never venerate a god who is that callous and spiteful.

[–] GeeDubHayduke@lemmy.dbzer0.com 14 points 1 day ago (1 children)

He - and if there is a God, I am convinced he is a he, because no woman could or would ever fuck things up this badly.

[–] entwine413@lemm.ee 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Unless Trump is the antichrist, then God intended for it to happen.

[–] Ledericas@lemm.ee 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

hes a low-level demon escaped from hell, anti-christ would have been able to warp reality one of the key feature of its powers

[–] futatorius@lemm.ee 7 points 1 day ago

He's able to do that for 1/3 of the US population.

[–] futatorius@lemm.ee 2 points 1 day ago

The only justice in this world is the justice we make.

[–] Sanctus@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Maybe God isnt all powerful and is forced to watch all she made kill itself over and over in ever more savage ways.

[–] futatorius@lemm.ee 1 points 1 day ago

God realized how badly She fucked up and died of Chrstian pity.

[–] Redditsux@lemmy.world 4 points 2 days ago

Maybe who you think god is is all wrong? Maybe it's the other guy or girl or it who's really in charge.
