Making the welcome tour paid is completely baffling.
they really want to make a new Wii Sports... but they fail to realise the difference between Wii Sports, Nintendo Land, 1 2 switch and Welcome Tour.
Wii Sports was a pack-in Game!
That's their problem: the biggest game on the console that everyone knows was given away for free.
Execs: "Do you know how much money we would have made if we sold Wii Sports to people!? We do that from now on!"
Gamers: "F that, I'm not paying full price for a tutorial!"
Apparently the USA division head or whatever Reggie fought tooth and nail for wii sports to be an included free game. Nintendo Japan was very against the idea.

I'd say it paid off. Look whose remembered.
The console wouldn't have sold as well without it. Wii Sports definitely contributed to the success of the console.
I would love to really give 1,2 Switch a try, but I never will.
And good... Nintendo Land sucked
In my home, Nintendo Land is an all time great game. To this day, whenever my nieces visit, they demand to play Nintendo Land.
