I was really convinced they'd draw this out for months if not years. And I also expected a 5-4 in favour of Trump, because the court is obviously corrupt.

Really surprised that the ruling came so fast and with 9-0 against Trump.

I guess the US isn't totally fucked yet. SCOTUS still wants to hang on to a thread of dignity.

What do you think is a fair amount to sue the country that arrested you and deported you to a foreign country so they didn't have to follow the rules of our own soil?

I'd really prefer to see the perpetrators get jail time.

Any money this guy gets will just be taxpayer dollars and won't deter it from happening again.

Depends on how large it is. If it's 15 billion tax payers would be pissed to have to pay out 300 of those, and start getting upset at the billionaires ordering it.

I think they are scared to become irrelevant and lose their protections. Once Trump has fully turned dictator, they will be irrelevant, so i guess they are just trying to work in their own best interest as usual.
