Not to scare you, but if they last more than a couple days you should reach out to a doctor. I have a family member who had this happen, had horrid hiccups for 4 days straight and it tore open a part that required surgery. It's been so long now I can't remember exactly how it happened since I was fairly young at the time, but do take care of yourself <3 hope they clear up soon

It's very rare that this happens to me. I do think it's associated with a mild chest cold I just went through over the past few days or so. The cold itself has basically already passed, but I think that's what left me with lingering hiccups.
At least the hiccups aren't severe, like I don't think I'm gonna end up with a hernia or anything like that, but yeah it's annoying as hell and making it rather difficult to sleep โน๏ธ
I'm pretty sure it'll pass within a day or so, hopefully ๐ค
