What is a linux computer? The linux kernel and Linux/GNU is a type of OS that can be installed on almost anything. Firmware present in chips has nothing to do with the OS you boot into. If the value of a position is to fix every problem with modern computer tech, you will always lose.

Someone who covers their drinks when you enter a room. Oh, wait, different stupid question: a computer running Linux.

Firmware present in chips has nothing to do with the OS you boot into.

That was their point, that almost all Linux systems run on hardware with that firmware despite many people thinking Linux is by default safe from that kind of shit

You said "if we were wise we'd all install Linux" not "we'd all install Linux on niche hardware"
