We could not see much of the race because of bad transmission, despite an apparently OK weather.

There were a few attacks in the second half of the Durone Pass; last one and most significant was Cepeda's (๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡จ EF), but he was caught up near the end of the descent, soon after a group of 3 chasers (Seixas (๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท Dรฉcathlon), Storer (๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ Tudor) and I can't remember the third one, was it Davide Bais (๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น Polti) ? there was Paul Double (๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง Jayco) at some point too...) was also caught up.

In the final climb, Mattia Bais (๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น Polti) left the group, then reached the flat part, but was caught up in the second uphill part.

Ciccone (๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น Lidl-Trek) easily wins the sprint before the two Decathlon riders Gall๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡น and Seixas๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท. Bardet (๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท Picnic) comes 4^th^. Follow before a tiny split: Stork (๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช Tudor), the two Australians๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ Hindley (Bora) and Storer (Tudor), and Poole (๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง Picnic).

That makes 2 Decathlon, 2 Tudor and 2 Picnic in the same time (before accounting for time bonuses).
