Hmm, I think Panasonic has software that can correct for some of that based on the lens initially used (it's been forever since I played with it, though).

There are tons of software options to correct for distortion, just be sure to process the files before you use them if your lens has significant distortion. Also note that zooms exhibit different amounts and types of distortion at different focal lengths.
