How would someone who is convinced they are a temporarily embarassed millionaire learn a lesson like that.

Conservatives always think they're part of the in-group.. until they're not.

Because they think that one day soon, they'll own the boot and be the ones doing the stomping.

Republicans never consider themselves to be poor, they're just "temporarily embarrassed millionaires" who are gonna make it any day now. Just you wait, any day now they'll win the lottery, or get an inheritance, or...

This is the strategy that the obscenely wealthy have used since the dawn of time.

Manipulate the peasants to blame each other, instead of us. Throw them some bones to make us appear concerned, altruistic, and benevolent. The reason Roman emperors gave the plebes free bread every day, and held the "Games" to keep them from rioting.

Today, it's American Idol, sports, reality TV, YouTube, TikTok, etc.
