Most shows best work are only 3 or 4 seasons.
See i find 6 seasons and a movie work best as long as the writers have their ending figured out before they begin the show we'll really two are endings one to end the first season if the show doesn't get picked up and the second ending to end the series.
I think after 5 seasons you start to see actors and writers phoning it in.
