The comment I replied to said it was cute that people thought there would be elections.

A family member was just down in the states visiting a friend and she was amazed at how no one seemed to know what was going on. People were just going about their lives and shrugging off what was happening thinking it will just resolve itself. This is the general population.

If you think you'll be voting in 4 years, you're naive.

That visit scared the shit out of her and she told me she's no plans to ever return.

you’re saying it to people who hate what is happening, not MAGA.

I'll believe it when I see Americans rising up. Right now, it looks like no one is doing jack shit.
