'Traditional' here means 'Physical', as in artworks which are NON-DIGITAL in nature.
What's allowed: Acrylic, Pastel, Encaustic, Gouache, Oil and Watercolor Paintings; Ink Illustrations; Manga Panels; Pencil and Charcoal sketches; Collages; Etchings; Lithographs; Wood Prints; Pottery; Ceramics; Metal, Wire and paper sculptures; Tapestry; weaving; Qulting; Wood carvings, Armor Crafting and more.
What's not allowed: Digital art (anything made with Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Krita, Blender, GIMP or other art programs) or AI art (anything made with Stable Diffusion, Midjourney or other models)

My biggest beef with Lemmy art communities. I think largely due to restrictions from instances, the image quality is almost always dissapointing here.
She’s a relatively obscure artist. I ran into similar issues. I think she’s housed at the San Diego Museum of Art. The stuff I’ve found on her seems to point out how underappreciated she is as a surrealist, how she references Magritte as an influence. She seems really “slept on.”
To be fair, I couldn’t find this in better quality anywhere else either. I had a hard time finding references to it at all other than an article that didn’t have the picture, and a Reddit and Flickr repost that are the same quality.
