Chronicle the life and tale of the fediverse (+ matrix)
Largely a sublemmy about capturing drama, from fediverse spanning drama to just lemmy drama.
Includes lore like how a instance got it's name, how an instance got defederated, how an admin got doxxed, fedihistory etc
(New) This sub's intentions is to an archive/newspaper, as in preferably don't get into fights with each other or the ppl featured in the drama

No, the law can take down dbzer0 and you are pretending to give a shit about that when you’re just upset that you can’t wipe your dirty shoes on their couch aka not follow their rules. They don’t want to debate copyright with you. Get over it
Edit: Now that I think about it I’m starting to wonder if you understand how the fediverse works. There is no “fediverse” to shut down. The fediverse is just a word to describe sites federated with each other built on activity pub. They can’t ban that.
I haven't used their platform for the very reason that I wouldn't follow their rule.
Unless you're the government. The government has power over the internet providers.
You do not understand how this works. You may as well say that they will take down any website that uses python. Activitypub is a protocol. There is nothing remotely illegal about it. This is as inane as saying “if you post illegal stuff on Facebook they will ban social media.” That’s just not how things work. You do not understand the technical underpinnings of “the fediverse,” You do not understand that there is no central organization or concept. You do not get what you are participating in.
