Netanyahu has had a hard on for regime change in Iran for 30 years. Israel wants to destroy every country in the region that is pro Palestine. With the help of the US neocons, he has virtually succeeded; turning Syria, Libya, Iraq, Sudan into failed states that pose no threat to Israeli hegemony.

This policy was first set out in the 1980s by Israeli strategist Oded Yinon who called for breaking up Arab states into weak, sectarian mini-states (Sunni, Shiite, Kurdish, etc.) fragmenting states in the Middle East to weaken them

Bibi has to keep the war going or he'll lose control over his dictatorship

My government are insane people. They will nuke Israel the second they got their hands on a nuclear bomb and Israel is a small country. Also if you look at how they're treating us citizens you'll know both sides are horrible people

If that's true why haven't they obtained a nuclear weapon in decades given Netanyahu has been warning that Iran is weeks away from developing a nuke since the 1990s?

Why did Iran sign the JCPOA in 2015 which limited Uranium enrichment?

Why did they let in IAEA to monitor enrichment?

Why did Tulsi Gabbard say Iran is not producing a nuclear weapon in March?

Radiation signatures can tell you if its enriched for fuel or enriched for bombs.

Iran did NOT want to use it for bombs. Nuclear energy would greatly benefit their energy portfolio. But cretin westeners cant see beyond bibis fearmongering and everyone thinks these people are stupid or something.

Now I think Iran should make a couple.

I also think Israel does not have any nukes themselves. No tests. No drills, no payload development. No IAEA inspections (THE DPRK ALLOWS IN THE IAEA). I think its much more profitable for Israel to fake nukes until the US helps them with actual ones when needed launching.

Iran did NOT want to use it for bombs.

Writing in all caps surely makes you 100% correct.

That was my thought, having followed the social media coverage of recent unrest in Iran over hair covering and so on. Iran does need regime change, but Israel is definitely not the right people to do it. No idea the solution, but I hope people can find a way to stay safe.

Hush my child... The real world doesn't fit the anti Israel rhetoric that many lemmy users are so used to.

Islamophobic sentiment. Iran is as big as Germany.

Dont make 1 dimensional accusations of the country. They want to live their lives without Imperialism knocking on their door.

Of course they will retaliate.
