The US House of representatives is preparing to vote next week on a resolution that would deem “Free Palestine” to be “an antisemitic slogan.”

If anybody votes against this, they’ll say they voted to support Colorado terrorist attack.

Gabe Evans is a fucking loser that barely won that district... but read this thing. Don't just take the headline at face-value, cause that's also wrong.

Read the fucking thing. Here it is again: https://acrobat.adobe.com/id/urn:aaid:sc:US:d2810458-ed0c-4ba8-9bb6-185c18b7c95c?viewer%21megaVerb=group-discover

Again, fuck Gabe Evans but this headline is sensationalist bullshit. Read the thing.

For the lazy:

Resolved, That the House of Representatives-- (1) condemns Mohammed Sabry Soliman and his antisemitic terrorist attack on peaceful demonstrators supporting the release of the hostages held by Hamas; (2) prays for the quick healing of the victims of Mohammed Sabry Soliman's antisemitic terrorist attack; (3) affirms that free and open communication between State and local law enforcement and their Federal counterparts remains the bedrock of public safety and is necessary in preventing terrorist attacks; and (4) expresses gratitude to law enforcement officers, including U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel, for protecting the homeland.

This is embarrassing, but i don't know how resolutions work and I was looking at the same thing and scratching my head.

Is it that along with resolution 1, you area agreeing to the second paragraph here:

Second paragraph

So it's this a "therefore" situation or a wrong headline and interpretation from news agencies? I have no idea.

I was going off this: https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/house-resolution/485/text/ih?format=txt

I realize how my post can be a bit misleading now. I put up a link to his rough draft, and the one that's in Congress doesn't actually resolve shit.
