How does anyone know they're ICE? what if six guys in masks showed up and threw these guys in an unmarked van and says THEY'RE ICE?
You're right. And if you feel threatened, you could just shoot them. "Had no idea they were cops. They hid their faces like gang members."
Someone put "MS 13" in power point text boxes on their shirts already.
I'm sure a quality temp tattoo will have a decent effect.
If they were just bounty hunters, with no ID or uniforms, and somebody stopped them, I doubt any judge would allow a case to go forward. There is no law that says citizens have to cooperate with violent, unidentified strangers.
They aren't ICE. There's not enough ICE agents for the job. At BEST, they are bounty hunters deputized by ICE and given $1k for each brown person they bring in.
Worth a shot.
