I was reading some article that stated the effectiveness of Ukrainian anti-drone defenses had decreased because Russian drones, most notably their Shahed variants, are flying at higher altitudes.

The machine-gun type defenses don't have the altitude range to hit higher flying drones, so the interception rate went down to 80%.

A quick google returned this article from today: https://euromaidanpress.com/2025/06/29/why-cant-ukraine-stop-russias-shahed-drones-anymore/

I was refering to the "quad rotor type" I dont follow the war so close that I watch much of the combat footage, but I get the impression that they are extensively used for taking out single targets like the Russian vehicle in OPs post.

I agree that againsr a high flying missile drone what I suggested would be useless.
