A lot of comments there still missing the point entirely and airing their grievances about being banned from specific subreddits. Reddit has been filtering for the technologically illiterate.

It's apparent there's a certain percentage of users who cannot comprehend internet meta. No matter how you explain things they just can't understand. With things like the difference between subreddit mods, company paid content mods, and site administrators (company employees). All they see is internet moderator. It's all the same to them.
