Northern Ontario is very pretty, but yeah maybe not internationally famous.

I'd think BC, Niagara falls (Ontario), Quebec and the maritimes are more internationally famous for tourism.

Yes the maritimes are an amazing place that tourism should happen, I have only seen Newfoundland a couple of times and ben in New Brunswick’s airport. I have only been in a few of Toronto’s airports many times so I cannot say much about that city. I was in London Ontario for a weekend, all I really saw was the university and the airport. I have spent a couple of weeks in Ottawa and sure there are some nice places but I am sure going up north would probably be amazing, that however is not a trip you want to take when you where just on a 10+ hour flight. Going west I have spent lots of time in Alberta, Banff would be a nice place for them to hangout in. I have only seen Vancouvers airport but I have some family in Victoria so I have been out there once or twice.

I am born and raised in Saskatchewan, so I have no problem saying they can just skip over it but if they are willing to take road trips there are many beautiful and intriguing places they could go and see.

Speaking of going up north, tourists could go way up north say to Yellow Knife, I was up there for work once for 12 or so days. Had I had more time I would have seen some of the sites but I was fairly busy but the northern lights are cool! I like seeing them far away from civilization in Saskatchewan as they dance more but at least Yellow Knife has a tourist industry based around them, in Chinese culture if you are conceived under the northern lights you are supposed to have good luck or good fortune something like that.
