Any real chance of survival on a galactic timescale has never really been an option.
Your comment was about a horrible attack on a transwoman, and you somehow turned that into an argument about the human species survival?
That is a huge leap in logic!
The attack was perpetrated by reprehensible pieces of shit, absolutely, but it does not affect humanity's possible future survival as a species.
