People will loudly bitch about cars at 3am and then run their lawnmower right by my window for 30 minutes during the day when I'm sleeping. Classic.
People don't bitch about cars. They bitch about cars that are needlessly loud. Did your neighbor modify his lawnmower to make more noise for fun? If he did, he's just as much of an idiot as the guys in loud cars (but I doubt he did).
Wrong sub?
You got me haha
I meant the comic but yeah :D
I'm pointing out that people only care about things when it applies to them.
You're weirdly defensive.
No you are not. And even if you actually are you chose a really bad example to try and make your point.
You do not speak for me.
People are allowed to do things during the day.
Most cities have noise bylaws. Revving an engine at 3am is usually in violation of those laws, running a lawn mower in day time is not. I get that it sucks they are loud and many lawns are useless, but its also much more dangerous to mow in the dark and more people are sleeping at night than in the day time. You also have to make some loud noise with our current standard mowing technology, but the same isn't true for the cars in question, they are modified intentionally to be much louder.
