Overview:
Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. This community is where we discuss the various different vehicles and news stories regarding electric transportation.

You may be right, but I don't think so, AFAIK cars in this price range are mostly unaffected for 2026.
I'm still waiting to buy, because prices are dropping fast ATM, and my very old car is a somewhat luxury car, and I don't want to downgrade. So I don't want to go below what's available in the 300-350k DKK range, and then I want something like that 2nd hand for half. ๐
As I understand it, that will be a lot easier next year. So I'm eating the 5800,- DKK my current car cost in yearly taxes, to save way more on a "new" car later.
Cars below 350k do not increase in tax. The standard Model Y is 340k so zero extra tax, and long range is 360k so just 3k extra tax next year.
There is absolutely no reason to panic buy now at that price point, considering how the competition is increasing, and prices are currently falling.
seems like everyone just pivots to buying a used tesla and calls it a day, the number of pengx, byd's, and misc ev's from other manufacturers are dwarfed by the sheer volume of lookalike swasticars
Used Tesla are really cheap here, to me it looks like their reputation as used cars is not very good, especially the model 3.
