This is why I think things like social media and doom scrolling are so bad, because it makes it so people can't stand being bored and they need to get back to scrolling. Instead of getting bored enough that they finish a project or start a new hobby.

At least thats what I've noticed in myself, it took me uninstalling reddit and Instagram a few years ago and letting boredom in to get me to work on my hobbies more

we definitely could, I was just saying at the time I realized my issue I was using reddit and instagram.
