They're trying to create a Super-app, similar to what WeChat is in China, but for games.

Like Roblox, actually. They are trying to stanch the users' leaking out of their cash cow, but shoving everything in will just piss off the kids when fourth 50+ GB patch hits. As for Rocket League, they already mismanaged it to shit, the levels have lost all flair years ago, new ones are inexplicably ugly.
