Yeah about 40 years ago, we should have been maximizing our resources not hindering them. Also encouraging manufacturing not taxing and burning it in red tape at every step forward. We have an oil refinery on the East Coast that has to buy oil from the Middle East or Russia because we can't get our own oil to this location. Although we have shipped Alberta oil from Burnaby BC down the West Coast to the Panama Canal through to the Atlantic Ocean up the East Coast to Irving Oils Refinery. Isn't that Green? If only we had a way to get that oil across the Country. Now our feet are in the fire and we have a PM that is dragging his ass and using every excuse to not build a pipeline in Canada, Brookfield has lots in the US and elsewhere though. This is the easiest solution to get things rolling in Canada. But no, he is using existing projects that are already nearing completion. We need to start selling our oil, gas, minerals, wood, grains, meat and everything else to the world but we still need the US market for the stuff that we just don't have. We are not Euro trash we are Canadian and I will buy American before I buy an EU product.
