President Donald Trump is considering plans to target cocaine facilities and drug trafficking routes inside Venezuela, though he has not yet made a decision on whether to move forward with them, three US officials told CNN.

Outward signs on Friday pointed toward a major potential military escalation, with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth ordering the Navy’s most advanced aircraft carrier strike group currently stationed in Europe to the Caribbean region amid a massive buildup of US forces there. Trump has also authorized the CIA to conduct covert operations in Venezuela.

I don't understand why though. If the files were released tomorrow and it had his name in big bold colourful letters all throughout it what then? I know he's in them, you know he's in them, EVERYONE knows he's in them so what's the point? motions to impeach the fucker get presented almost every week and go no where. Why would I believe THIS time would be different? Nothing can touch the guy. Hell he lead a coup at one point and US fuckers elected him AGAIN.

I GUARANTEE you if the files were released tomorrow there would be a collective "A-HA TOLD YA SO" and then jack all because that's how Americans operate - focus on one thing, get obsessed with it, lose focus, wait for the next thing.

It's not Trump's name they're worried about. There are likely hundreds (if not thousands) of extremely wealthy, powerful people in those files. Trump is protecting his true base...the wealthy.
