Why can't we just pronounce it Wodan's Day?
People look at me funny when I say it that way. They notice less when I say Thor's-day or Moonday and Frijjaday. Obviously there has been no notice taken at all when I say Sun-day .
And Tyr's Day, just before Woden's each week.
