at this point in time i am not comfortable cutting back on border security and defense spending.

Sure. But spending it in the US on equipment that they remotely control (F35) is even worse.

Damn straight, we have 1k CBSA and 1k RCMP being hired, along with quadrupling defense spending by the end of the decade. Personally i think we need to move faster.
