I feel like the Wizards could have gotten better offers for Beal than this. Is CP3 just a buyout candidate now?
Apparently Beal had A LOT of leverage due to his no trade clause. Seems like it limited the return Washington could get
I think you're underestimating how nightmarish Beal's contract is. Wizards are the GOAT team for somehow unloading so many horrible, un-tradable contracts.
I get that, but there are definitely teams that are desperate to sell more tickets/win more games.
But I guess the Beal contract was pretty bad, I just don't see how they build a viable team from here.
the wizards had no choice. the wizards could only go along with what beal wanted.
