As a case study.... (To be clear, every link below is regarding the same incident)

Elderly lady with dementia has shoulder dislocated for goods she didn't mean to take, and no longer possessed.

Officer put on "leave." Worthless response, a clear covering of the ass when public outcry began.

Then this comes out:

Cops laugh about the "pop" in the bodycam footage while she lay in earshot without receiving any medical treatment.

So eventually, after massive public outcry and multiple videos showing what pieces of shit these cops were, eventually, something resembling justice was served.
