is it worth upgrading my weapons at the blacksmith or should I save my materials? (lemmy.ml)

I'm using a melee rogue with double daggers and have been upgrading them as I lvl up. Is this a good approach or would I be better off saving the materials for later on and using the weapons as-is?

Thanks a lot. I'll keep on upgrading and I guess if I find myself short on materials I can always grind for some.
