From what little I know about Scott, I doubt this was the intention. Could be, but I’m not convinced. Also that still leaves Monty unexplained, if the glamrock animatronics are still possessed by the souls of the originals - which I don’t believe is the case… pretty sure only the original game’s animatronics, marionette, Ballora, Baby, and maybe one or two others I can’t think of atm were actually possessed
It is 1000% my headcanon now, though
Tbf there's also Steel Wool now! And Monty was just a new character that wasnt part of the band like the daycare attendant but is now replacing Bonnie after he was decommisioned, supposedly because Monty destroyed him out of envy amplified by the mimic's program... though there's also Mark's theory
