Very unlikely. The West has enough sources in the Kremlin. We would know when he died. Things like this cannot be kept secret.

@Hopfgeist yes and no. Of course Russia would take it under wraps. And UA has even more sources inside RU. The big elephant is whether it would change anything. Or benefit UA and the war effort. Correct is that the IC is silent. Also the RU posture didn't changed a bit. So he is either alive, or dead and reasons exists that the IC is silent. In any case it's these 100 ppl that steer RU imo.
