Oh wow, it's actually made from stainless steel and not some shitty mild steel. I should get me one, this would be a lifesaver in Michigan
Get a DeLorean; it would be more off road capable.
Until you got a dent and had to replace an entire panel at a huge cost.
What are on about ? You can work SS, its not white cast iron or anything.
This is what I am on about- https://www.autoblog.com/2019/11/22/tesla-cybertruck-stainless-steel-body/
dents are bad ass don't be a pussy
"My $60,000 truck has a dent in it! Now it's bad ass!" -- No one.
Not a bad point.
My truck was nowhere near that much, even new (I always buy used), but it's a truck, dents happen. Part of why I'd never pay that much or buy new.
Stainless steel still rusts when exposed to salt and water.
Prove it
The stainless in the cyber truck is 301, which is less corrosion resistant than 304 or 316. You can read all about stainless corrosion in Appendix A.
