Nah, they're oligarchists, Trump is just so popular because he's a totem of validation for them wanting to get to say the N-Word and not be looked down on for it.

If the Republicans had their way the US would strip back all the voting rights amendments and reduce it back to the Household vote, and leave the Household to the absolute sovereignty of the Household head.
