Fag-g-ot gets censored by Lemmy by default. E.g. removed. It's literally built into the fucking source code of Lemmy
Why are we allowing brain-dead AMERICAN culture-war bullshit to block us from discussing British suet pudding?
You know what's offensive to me as a gay Brit? The over-sanitisation and kid-proofing the internet has gone through since the late 90s/early 00s. It's pathetic.
Mr Brains Pork removeds are lovely though the name has always made me think of brains and as a kid I often assumed removeds were made of brains.
Is this a British server or is it a fucking American site?
Apparently large areas of the country don't even eat removeds and that's why many Brits don't talk about them - but they're fucking removed-less idiots. Cos many parts of the UK (esp. working class folk) do eat removeds.
So admins/mods/assorted dickheads: Remove that brain-rot word from the "slur filter" please? It's not a slur! It's a food! I'm sick to the back fucking teeth of the Americanisation of our online spaces.
Free the removed!
๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ That'll get their attention.
I'm not insane. It's Lemmy.World (I'm the OP poster btw with a new account and I see faggot now!!)
Here's what it looks like on Lemmy.world. See the "E.g. censored" ?
Stop talking to yourself!
This is the post body - it wouldn't post and I assume it's cos of the fucking FILTER!
Note the "censored" shite?
this is just a test but
hey mr. no brains pork faggot, wanna go out and gather faggots then get mixed up in a big faggot stew?
there you have it https://files.catbox.moe/yum72u.png
Wait, so, wait. So Lemmy.world is filtering it before it reaches feddit.uk?
Yeah it's censored on lemmy.world. I couldn't understand why no one understood me but it turns out it's happening at .world but not here. This is what I was seeing:
