I'm going to post a bug report to Lemmy but it seems my comment body that contains about 6 instances of the f-word gets blocked from posting at all.

Post body I intended is below. Posts with the f-word in get blocked entirely.

Comments get the word censored. The filtering is fucking idiotic and over-zealous.

TLDR: WHY IS A UK SERVER BLOCKING MENTION OF A UK FOODSTUFF?

In addition the filter outright BREAKS the instance when posting. Try making a text post with the word removed in the body (it fails to post). No error or message is displayed.

Like I say I'm going to submit a bug report on GitHub when I can get off the toilet for 5mins because at a fundamental filtering level - it's a broken feature when it simply blocks the post outright with no explanation.
