Oh, this sounds incredibly relatable, I'm doing something vaguely equivalent right now.
Except I found out in the meantime that I may not even be eligible in the first place, which they could've told me right away, from the very first document I needed to hand in. But apparently, I am forced to go through the whole process anyway.
