Reading all your comments I wonder whether Denmark is actually what you’re looking for. The main theme that seems very/the most important seems to be the ability to travel in the rest of Europe. That is of course totally fair, but if that’s the most important thing you’re probably better off moving to Germany or the Netherlands. Those are much more central and give much better access to the rest of Europe. Public transport is for example much better in the Netherlands than in Denmark.

Both Germany and the Netherlands are on our list, but Denmark is higher. Of course you're completely right, and we might have to think more about other countries but we're starting with Denmark. We might visit Copenhagen and fall in love with it. We might visit and decide actually, we don't like Denmark at all. But at least we're working to a plan to start with.

Sounds like a good plan. Like I said earlier, I love Denmark. But most of the time when people from similar cultures move to Denmark it’s because of the space, smaller cities, nature etc. Usually not because of the busy city life and accessibility to the rest of Europe
