What was the technical term for this? Something like crabbification but more fancy

Carcinisation. Presumably rooted in the Cancer crab constellation.

Lol, the term and the constellation both refer to the ~~Latin~~ Greek word for crab

That makes perfect sense and 2 seconds of thinking about it probably would have led me to that conclusion. Thanks for the clarification.

Man. Even the damn stars are turning into crabs.

[–] Zagorath@aussie.zone 3 points 11 months ago

Also a carcinogen is something that gives you crabs.

Sounds like a horror movie. I like it!

[–] blackluster117@possumpat.io 8 points 11 months ago

The Claw Snips for Thee featuring Dr. Zoidberg!

[–] grrgyle@slrpnk.net 4 points 11 months ago (1 children)

It feels like it would be an Australian horror movie specifically

[–] lugal@sopuli.xyz 3 points 11 months ago

They have other unique animals, crabs are universal. But I'm not into Australian horror movies, maybe it fits there
