Why do you feel that stereotyping Lemmy users according to the instance they signed up to is okay?
He's from .ml, that's why.
That's the one instance I judge people for being from.
I think that's fair. I was originally on ML until I figured out what they're all about. Then I deleted my account and came here.
.ml and Hexbear are the only acceptable instances to judge people for being on.
There's others, but p.much everyone is defederated from those.

I think it’s a reactionary response to people (fairly or not) stereotyping .ml users.

And I am saying stereotyping .world users as “Facebook” level is a reaction to people stereotyping .ml users.

It may in context stand for Marxist Leninist. I don’t know. I myself am not a Marxist Leninist nor am I a fan of how Lemmy.ml is run.

For me? Yes. But this is the fediverse. We all choose our instances based on the rules therein. If I wanted a space that was federated with them I would move to such an instance.
