While it's great to support all these Canadian chains, chances are there's a locally owned restaurant near you that is much better than any of these. Support Canada of course, but supporting local independent businesses is even better.

Go to a local independent restaurant. Chain restaurants are a scourge on society.
A&W Canada has the best fast food breakfast
If you go in you can get a diner style sit down breakfast now. It’s nice to go for an early morning summer walk then stop in for some eggs on their outdoor seating.
They also have good coffee and hot chocolate. They’re pretty much the only fast food I buy these days.
Canadian Brewhouse is pretty good. I’ve been a couple times, they have good deals on specific foods on certain days (wings on Wednesdays, tacos on Tuesdays, etc). They’ve got locations in Ontario, BC, Alberta, and Manitoba I believe.
Restaurant adjacent: Beavertails. Second Cup. Purdy's. Laura Secord.
panago pizza is great, pretty good vegetarian options too imo. They have vegan options too, can't comment on how good they are though
TIL, The Keg, Swiss Chalet, and Harvey's are all Canadian and owned by the same Canadian parent company.
I was inspired by a comment from @jownz@lemmy.world when I found out that Mr. Sub is a Canadian chain.
Turns out there are a ton of restaurants that I had no idea were also Canadian and I went down a rabbit hole and wanted to share!
