I think more companies are getting the picture that a good chunk of early adopters use home assistant.

HA integration is one thing, manufacturer independence is another.

How long until “Yeah, we’re withdrawing HomeAssistant support. You have 30 days to migrate your automations to SwitchBotPlus”

Had the same thought. Being able to run the robot offline with HA would be huge, and far better than getting one of the Chinese robots and flashing valetudo on it.

They're also compatible with Matter or Bluetooth, so you can use them without the hub if you want to (although I assume you'll always need the app if you want to do stuff like managing the map for your robot vacuum).
