I tried it a month or two ago, and it just didn't work very well. If other Linux users are looking for a mod manager, I've been happy with Limo.

I haven't gotten Limo to work at all. I ended up deleting it and using Mod Organiser through Steam Tinker Launcher.

Is this mod manager different than vortex? They have two mod managers in beta now?
