Larian have all my respect but I will never trust wizard of the coast

After the OGL debacle, nobody should trust WotC or Hasbro

I wonder when WotC decides to turn back the wheels of time and removes any diversity from their products under the new government. They really seem like the kind of company that were more serious about woke washing than being honest.

Hasbro, not WotC. Wizards of the Coast is just an old name that no longer carries any meaning, like Netscape or Obsidian Entertainment.

Hasbro makes all of the decisions now.

Of course. But I'll defend Obsidian. It certainly wasn't Microsoft's decision to make Pentiment or still actively support Pillars Of Eternity over 10 years after its release. Talent that made Obsidian great still works there.

"The Baldur’s Village DMCA takedown was issued mistakenly—we are sorry about that," the WoTC spokesperson wrote. "We are in the process of fixing that now so fans and the Stardew community can continue to enjoy this great mod!"

I may not be a lawyer but I'm pretty sure that's not how things work.

I'm only speculating but maybe it's just a third party like what happened with itch.io. and now they reversing their decision.

ooo thats a good point. A lot of those IP protection companies seem very trigger happy.
