This is... extremely exciting? I think my brain has rendered itself incapable of experiencing optimism when it comes to American politics so I am absolutely shocked by this.

Well, the good news is that when we get too loud to be ignored they have to report on it.
The bad news is that if you got your news primarily from these sources, these protests would seem apropos of nothing, since their reporting was shit beforehand. I'm not holding my breath for continuing coverage.
I checked Fox News out of curiosity and they're not reporting on it whatsoever. So be prepared for MAGA hats to not even know the protests happened.
Predictable. When I told my Trump supporting mother I was going to a protest today, she had no idea what we could be protesting about. She went to the Hands Off! website and said they were just "inciting" a protest with their "rhetoric." Fox News enjoyers thinks protest = riot, as a rule of thumb. So if it was just a bunch of overwhelmingly peaceful and nonviolent protests...Fox News has nothing to report on--they don't want their viewers getting the impression that protesters are not the enemy. My bet is they will cherry pick the one or two occurrences of violence or vandalism as a way to paint the entire movement in a bad light in the coming days.
